Flight Track User's Guide
User Interface
The Flight Track user interface contains three panels: the Front (shown above), Prediction, and Flight Information panels. These display real-time and simulated tracking information, tabulated prediction information, and general flight information respectively. The User Interface section reviews navigation between panels, MapPoint legends, and the Front Panel, Prediction, and Flight Information panel contents.

Workflow
Flight Track predicts weather balloon flight paths, and tracks and reviews weather balloon flights. The Workflow section reviews how to make a weather balloon flight path prediction, how to set up Flight Track to track a weather balloon flight, and how to review a weather balloon flight.

Files
Flight Track creates and maintains files including flight logs, flight set up, prediction information, processed wind data, and Flight Track options. The Files section reviews the purpose and format of these files.

Options
Flight Track provides many options and configurations for flight tracking and predictions. The Options section reviews how to use the Options dialog and how Flight Track uses each option or configuration.

Review these Examples to learn how to use Flight Track for your weather balloon flight path prediction and tracking.
